Let me take you down 'cause I'm going to Crawdaddy Creek.
You can't be weak. And nothing to get pinched about.
Crawdaddy Creek Forever.

Grab some friends, your nets, river shoes, a few buckets.
You gotta be quick with your net. These guys are fast.
You gotta be quick with your net. These guys are fast.
But apparently not fast enough.
However, they are good climbers.
And persistent.
And they do pinch.
Lucky for them, none of us like to eat crayfish.
It's strictly a catch and release operation.
Sing it with me now....Crawdaddy Creek Forever.
Crawdaddy creek forever...We had such a great time. We might even go back this weekend with Jason...he has never been! Thanks for the great photos!
ReplyDeleteagain Courtney, another great blog post! Now I will have that song stuck in my head all day! Great pix too.
ReplyDeleteThat looks like so much fun! Reminds me of going in the creek in the park and looking for tadpoles!
ReplyDeleteBy the way: Jethro=Mark Harmon's character on NCIS! (I wasn't sure if you were kidding or not when you mentioned the Beverly Hillbillies!)
I just love your pictures! I was wondering how you were going to cook them before I read this was a "catch and release operation"...love it!
ReplyDeleteUsed to do this when I was a child ... loved playing in the creek.
